Meet Serbian national team for the match against Turkey

The coach of the Serbian national team has announced the squad for the match against Turkey. This match continues the competition in the Group C Conference.

Balance of youth and experience

Serbia will welcome Turkey with a fairly strong lineup that is a combination of youth and experience. Unlike last time, this time we have three debutants, who will play for the senior national team for the first time. There are the young and persoective Uroš Pucar, the experienced scrumhalf Žulijen Todorović, as well as the experienced Miljan Nikolić. Both players from France, who will bring additional quality to our team.

Of the experienced players, there is above all Marko Gvozdenović, who has proven his quality countless times, who will wear the captain’s armband in the match. Vladimir Đukić, Predrag Vraneš, Aleksandar Madjanović and Igor Dejanović have been the leaders of this team for more than a decade.

A perfect combination of youth and experience from whom we expect fast and effective rugby. The match will take place on Saturday the 13th April, starting at 2 p.m. at the city stadium in Starčevo. We rightfully expect great support for the national team.
