Serbia starts the competition in Conference 2 south
With the match against Montenegro, we start the competition in Conference 2 South for the 2022/2023 season. We can freely say that we enter the match as big favorites, but we must respect the opponent and never underestimate him. To remind you, Montenegrins beat us two years in a row in 7s rugby. This is precisely why we believe that the Eagles are highly motivated and ready to respond to all the challenges and tasks that coach Mišel Milović has set before them. Preparations for the match and the training camp have been successfully completed, so we can expect a great game.
What can we expect from the match?
Ever since coach Milović took over the helm of the national team, the game has been played quickly and at a high pace. The game plan is clearly followed, the players know exactly what is expected of them, that is, when everyone knows their job, there are no unforeseen circumstances. We can expect strong defenses from which lightning-fast counter-attacks develop. What we will see is a structured and patient game at a high tempo, which will present a serious challenge to the opposing defense.

U14s tournament as a warm up to the match
On rugby pich of the stadium Kralj Petar I will be held 2nd U14s Serbian Championship tournament . The kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. After the games, the U14s will go on to the match between Serbia and Montenegro, where they will rest after the tournament and enjoy the excellent rugby. We repeat that the U14s tournaments this season are incredibly interesting and uncertain. So if you’re planning to spend tomorrow at the rugby, don’t skip the U14s, there’s a lot to see.
After party on the rugby field
Yes, there is an after as well, as middle-aged people would say now. On the rugby field after the match, around 4:30 p.m., a recreational match or tournament in rugby10-a-side format should be played in the organization of RK Rad. Everyone is welcome, both those who want to play and those who want to socialize. What would they say in a magazine from 7 to 107 years old, and we will say, from juniors to veterans!

The Eagles will perform in a fairly strong lineup. Although several players are missing, we can say that the Serbian team is quite strong and well filled in all positions.
