We decided to include all three cadet tournaments and to single out the ten players who left the biggest impression on us. One of the factors we have taken into consideration is the number of tournaments in which a player has played. According to the established principle, we select only players from Serbia. Players born in 2005 and 2006. enter in the selection process.
Unlike other age categories and lists we made, there was a lot of competition in the U16s. If we added a list of 11 to 20 places, there would be great players on it as well That is what adorns this generation, a large number of quality and educated players.
TOP 10 U16s
1.Milan Vesković
Position: flyhalf, fullback
YOB: 2006
Comparason: Melvyn Jaminet
A player who is equally deadly in any position. When in attack, he constantly puts pressure on the opponent’s line of defense. Uses space ideally, creates surplus and employs teammates with an ideal pass. He does not fall out of the game system and is very disciplined. On the other hand, a very fast player, with a precise shot. Currently leading the list of scorers. As we said last time, we haven’t seen a player of that caliber on our pitches in the opening position for a long time.
2.Dušan Jovanović
Position: prop
YOB: 2005
Comparason: Joe Moody
Maybe Vesković will be angry with us, but we fell in love with Dušan’s game in the tournament. A moving prop that is equally good in open play and statics is something that is an absolute treasure. In defense impassable. Sometimes it seemed to us that he despaired that he did not have the opportunity to play in defense anymore. He is physically very dominant on both sides of the field. Just when we thought we had seen it all, he managed to run over opponents on the wing twice.
3.Matija Pelva
Position: wing
YOB: 2005.
Comparason: George North
An injury prevented him from playing in the third tournament of the Serbian Cup, which led to a drop to third place. However, the performances in the first two tournaments were fantastic. As we mentioned earlier, a player who is very aware of his strength and speed and who does not hesitate to use it. Extremely dominant, especially in defense, where he is almost imperishable. He has a killer instinct in the attack and when he finds enough space he is unstoppable.
4.Aleksandar Avdiović
Position: Flyhalf
YOB: 2006.
Comparason: Christian Lealiifano
As the season progresses, Aleksandar gets in better shape. His game progresses from tournament to tournament. Physically he is getting better and better. He runs the Borac game. He has a deadly tactical shot, he is able to shoot a certain field in the field almost with televised precision. He is excellent in defense, closes space very well and is effective in shooting. We would like to see him create a fighter game more, and we would especially like to see him attack the opponent’s defensive line more aggressively.

5.Vuk Simić
Position: lock
YOB: 2006.
Comparason: Maro Itoje
He first caught our eye in defense, because he was great in shooting down and winning the ball in his hand. Then we saw him in attack attacking the surplus for a teammate with timely assistance. Then we saw that he was safe in his car and aggressive in the opponent’s. Then we saw him in the scrum pushing in sync. Player does everything great. For the position he plays, he needs more muscle mass and physical strength. If he could work on it, he would be an absolute force on the field.
6.Vojin Simonović
Position: scrumhalf
YOB: 2006.
Comparason: Baptist Cerin
A very fast scrumhalf who manages his team’s game very well. He dictates a very high rhythm, which always creates an advantage in open play. He has an excellent and sharp dog which, with a quick throw, allows the ball to come out of the crab in 3-4 seconds, which is a serious standard for professionals as well. Great tacler, brave player. We are of the opinion that he must be more rude as a scrumhalf and that he must strengthen communication with his teammates. Every scrumghalf must be absolutely irritating to the audience with its voice.
7.Andrija Janjić
Position: hooker
YOB: 2006.
Comparason: Stephen Moore
What a defensive player. Pitbull in defense. The opponent simply cannot pass him. Excellent in tackling. Setting up and playing in defense is definitely Andrija’s biggest characteristic. He is not as deadly in attack as in defense, but he is extremely strong, stable and safe when he has the ball in his hands In statics, we believe that there is certainly room for improvement and that he has to work harder on certain elements in statics, such as throwing the ball out. He also has to work on his physical strength, we think he would be an extremely dominant first line player if he trained individually.

8.Dragan Kokanović
Position: center
YOB: 2005.
Comparason: Robbie Henshaw
TOP 3 player on this list at least, but he played in only one tournament, he didn’t even play for his home club, but for Borac. That is the only reason why he is in the eighth position. A modern player in the center position who is physically extremely strong and who has excellent technique. A player with a great future ahead of him, so we would like him to gain experience playing with his peers.
9.Igor Švraka
Position: flanker, lock
YOB: 2005.
Comparason: Schalk Burger
I don’t know if you are aware of what kind of players we have in the U16s competition when Igor is in ninth place on our list. It could easily have happened that he was in a much higher position. Igor is an absolute force in defense, perhaps even the best trigger we have seen in tournaments. Sometimes it seemed to us that he was fighting with other Rad players in order to be in a position to tacle opponent. What he has to fix is the attacking game. He often falls out of the system and finds himself without support. Flankers and locks dig deep every game and they are players who have to be the most stable in the game system.

10.Dalibor Spasić
Position: center, wing
YOB: 2005.
Comparason Doug Howlett
A player who does everything on the field. If you need to put your head where someone is not allowed to put their foot, Dalibor is here. Very grateful player. You won’t see him running over an opponent, giving big fancy tries, carrying opponents a few meters away. But you will see him everywhere, he performs every task, both in defense and attack. We loved bismod and we see him more in the game with the ball. He definitely needs to work harder on his physical strength. We think that he is extremely strong, but the way he plays requires far greater physical preparation.
